Scope

Consult’s Animal Health recruitment team are proudly supporting one of the UK’s leading animal pharmaceutical companies in bringing in a production services technician to their team.

Maintain and deliver washed and sterile equipment for customers both on site and external, abiding by EU, UK and company GMP, Biosafety and EHS regulations. Be fully conversant with production requirements in order to anticipate specific needs and organise resources as required with the inclusions of handling liquid nitrogen and dry ice, formulating trial blends and performing sterility testing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute production operations in both production services and antigen control, according to defined procedures and ensure the integrity and quality of the product.
  • Preparation and delivery of production equipment (e.g, sterile glassware, final product bottles) as required by customer departments.
  • Support in the formulation of trial blends according to SOP’s
  • Operate and organise laundry services to ensure a consistent supply of clean garments and towels for use in all departments
  • Identify plan and implement control process improvements to production methods and equipment through change control process/system.
  • Support out of hours maintenance of liquid nitrogen vessels
  • Ensure all SOP’s are up to date to current procedures

About You

  • Good time management
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role or highly regulated environment is desirable
  • Working to GMP
  • Competency of use of Microsoft office
