Scope

Are you a high-performing sales leader with a passion for the medical device industry and a drive to excel?

Our client is a leading global provider of innovative surgical consumables, seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to spearhead their growth strategy in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual transitioning into a permanent sales management role, or a seasoned Territory Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of Key Account Managers and Sales Representatives, providing coaching and mentorship to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Looking after multiple channels inclusive of hospital sales, distributors, private care, and GPO.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for Germany and Austria, focusing on market expansion and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key surgical teams and hospital decision-makers, driving product adoption and maximizing revenue growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to proposal creation and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement effective strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to develop actionable insights and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards within the medical device industry.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years' successful experience in the medical device industry, ideally with a focus on surgical consumables but all medical acceptable.
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving exceptional results in a previous Territory Manager role.
  • Proven leadership and management experience or currently taking on leadership responsibilities without the official title.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of the German healthcare landscape, Austria an advantage.
  • A collaborative and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for the medical field and a commitment to providing innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
