Responsibilities

As Senior Electronic Engineer, based at our headquarters in Gothenburg, you'll take on a senior engineering role in the area of sensor-applications and connected devices and collaborate with a multi-functional team and external collaboration partners. You'll be designing electronics for future connected wound care products, digitalizing health care together with strong cross-functional teams.

You will take the lead on the research, identification and assessment of technologies suitable for integration into our medical device products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety and meeting the performance needs for the application. The responsibilities span from innovative early development work throughout medical device product development projects, where you will drive and coordinate internal and external electronic design activities, be involved in the planning and execution of testing and ensure that the work is performed and documented according to medical device standards and regulations.

About You

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, physics, chemistry, life science or equivalent
  • 8 years’ experience within electronics engineering and product development, including leading others within your area of expertise. Experience in external partnerships and contract manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electronics design, sensor applications and connectivity
  • Knowledge of medical device or health applications is a plus, including regulatory requirements related to medical electrical equipment, such as IEC and ISO standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
