Scope

Our client are seeking a high calibre Head of Sales Belux to join their team in Belgium. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will provide strategic and operational direction to Premium & Challenger Implant sales operation. The position is responsible for creating the strategic direction in collaboration with our overall Marketing strategy and for the tactical implementation of Sales priorities through the effective leadership, coaching, engagement and motivation of the Premium & Challenger Implant Sales Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership - Coaching, developing and recruitment of the Premium & Challenger Implant Sales Teams.
  • Strategic Thought Leadership – Responsible for execution of the sales strategy with effective use of KPI’s, Performance Management, Marketing Campaigns, and effective simplistic communication of sales force key priorities and focus.
  • Profit & Loss - Develops and implements sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, and profitability.
  • Business Strategy – Analyses Sales and Marketing data, and translates insights into key strategies and tactical plans.
  • Dental Service Organisations (Corporate Customers) – Collaborates with our DSO business unit to agree business priorities, servicing parameters and support in collaboration with those delivering in the Country & Regional DSO groups.
  • Sales Excellence - Ensures accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and monitors actual results to evaluate performance vs target. Defines and implements measures to continuously improve sales results (growth, profit margins, and productivity).
  • Regularly reviews the sales team results and performance. Defines adequate measures to continuously improve the team’s ability to perform at a high level and key KPI’s are met through development of the sales force capability.
  • Works closely with Marketing and Education in order to develop marketing and education strategies, including KOL development, as well as support respective strategies with sales campaigns.
  • Monitors the sales team’s technical and skills, capabilities and competencies and defines innovative measures in order to ensure industry leading and comprehensive technical skills and capabilities of the sales force.

About You

  • Degree or equivalent in life sciences or commercial
  • Fluent Dutch speaker
  • Extensive experience within a Sales Director/Senior Sales Management role with proven commercial success, leading a large team through managers.
  • Experienced hunter of commercial opportunities with ability to articulate and action lead generation right through the sales cycle.
  • Experience within a business consultancy framework utilizing data to enable a unique business case to be presented to new and existing commercial opportunities
  • Strong commercial business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ability to draw data from multiple sources, understand and draw insights out and build a strategy.
