Scope

Our client is a global medical device company developing innovative technology, tools and treatment options to help dental professionals worldwide achieve the clinical results they expect. They are currently hiring a Senior Business Optimization Consultant / Management Consultant who will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and growing dental/orthodontic practices leading the change in modern digital dentistry.

This is a field-based role within Germany.

Responsibilities

Your focus area in an Orthodontic practice will include maximizing top-line revenue growth, optimizing resources and efficiency, developing systems and processes, improving patient journey and service quality, increasing profitability and further developing office culture to drive practice growth.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with targeted accounts supporting customers to transform their practices.
  • Analyse the Orthodontic side of the business and find opportunities for improvement to the overall business.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement strategic initiatives within a practice to help the business grow and scale amid changing market dynamics.
  • Deep analysis of practices and customer behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement, growth, and scale.
  • Lead the change management in the practice.
  • Areas of analysis include but are not limited to KPIs, profitability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and marketing and referral programs.
  • Willingness to challenge SOPs (Standard operation procedures) and the current business model will be critical to success.
  • Builds High-Level Strategic Customer Relationships, building customer loyalty and multiple relationships within the highest levels of key functional areas in customer organizations
  • Identify strategic business opportunities within Practices
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers as well as the Sales and Marketing Team to develop business agreement proposals, implement those agreements, and develop timely responses to all opportunities.
  • Act as liaison between key customer contacts and other functions in the organization including Marketing, Customer and Clinical Service, Logistics and Commercial groups in order to develop appropriate product support, and pricing; influences and shapes the decisions of upper management; provides compelling rationale for ideas; works toward win/win solutions whenever possible.

About You

  • 5+ years of consulting experience
  • LEAN or Six Sigma certified is a plus
  • Excellent presentations and communications at E-and C-level
  • Native level German skills and fluency in English
  • A successful track-record of business consulting, working cross-functionally and effectively leading and training people.
  • Ability to handle numerous projects and partners simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently and make accurate, educated decisions.
  • Willing to travel up to 70%
